Power supply unit Emparro67 from the manufacturer Murrelektronik was specially designed for use outside of hardware cabinets. The device can withstand extreme environmental conditions, and can be installed directly "in the field", next to loads. This makes it an ideal solution for a decentralized installation concept. In this case, power losses are minimized.
Power losses occur, for example, if the power supply has an output voltage of 24 VDC. When using the Emparro67, the voltage is converted from 230 VAC to 24 VDC directly on the load. This allows you to significantly reduce power losses, and, therefore, energy costs.
Installing the Emparro67 power supplies outside the control cabinet gives many other advantages: for example, there is no need to install a bulky cabinet to accommodate all the necessary equipment in it, since the power supply can be moved outside of it.
To make devices, including power supplies, suitable for use in extreme conditions, their components must be protected from mechanical influences. Therefore, the Emparro67 is made in a compact and durable metal case with full sealing and IP67 protection degree. Dirt, humidity and lubricants can not cause damage to the components. This makes the Emparro67 a versatile device for various applications.
Single-phase power supplies of the Emparro series with IP20 protection degree have proven their energy efficiency when used in various applications. Their proven, reliable PFC (Power Factor Correction) technology is also used in the Emparro67. Thus, up to 92.4% of the energy can be used for its intended purpose.
The Emparro67 almost does not convert energy into heat, so you can touch all the elements of the device without fear of getting burned, even at full load and at high ambient temperatures. Also, the allocation of a small amount of heat by the power source means less heat load for individual components of the power source and an increase in the service life of the device itself. The same applies to the equipment installed next to the Emparro67 - the thermal impact on this equipment is reduced. The Emparro67 power supply unit reliably operates at temperatures up to 85 C, which is an exceptional indicator for power sources.
Another distinctive feature of the Emparro67 is the presence of a Power Boost system, which allows for a quick start of the power supply. During the first 4 seconds of operation, the Emparro provides up to 150% of the power. The built-in fuse provides additional protection for the device.
The Emparro67 is available in two versions: with an output current of 4A (art. 9000-11112-1962020) or 8A (art. 9000-11112-2062020), so you can choose a model that corresponds to the number of loads.
