New product from Murrplastik

Today, the level of production automation has sharply increased, which has led to an increase in the number of cable products used, which are subjected to rapid mechanical wear. And even the use of flexible cable channels (power circuits)  it doesn't always help in such situations. This is especially true for power circuits, the laying of which exceeds 3 meters.

Hence, the following problems arise:

- the flexible cable channel wears out quickly;

- more and more often, not one link of the power chain is subject to replacement, but the device as a whole;

- increased downtime due to the need to replace equipment.

Murrplastik has found a solution to this problem – power circuits with "sliding" links. Such power circuits are equipped with" sliding " links installed on the cable channel along the internal bend. As a result, the side links of the power chain – i.e., the upper and lower branches of the caterpillar-do not touch each other: the "sliding" links take all the load on themselves. Inside the flexible cable channel, the wires are not subject to mechanical wear due to the absence of rigid fixation, which allows you to reduce the wear of cable products to almost zero. The end result is impressive: a five-fold increase in the service life of the wires! Accordingly, such power circuits pay off within a short period of operation.

The use of these power circuits, among other things, gives a huge saving of time: now there is no need to replace the entire flexible cable channel , it is enough to replace only the worn-out link of the chain – and the device is ready to work! Replacing the link takes only a couple of minutes and does not require removing the cable from the power circuit. The links are fixed without the use of tools-just on the latches that securely attach them to the power chain. Removing the link from the chain is also not a problem: it is released with a screwdriver.

Another distinctive feature of such power circuits is that the links in them are made of a new synthetic material specially designed and optimized for use in devices where a low coefficient of friction is required. One of the key points here was to find the right balance for the composition of the material used – it had to be strong enough to protect against wear during operation and at the same time soft enough for a good profile with a low coefficient of friction.

We offer you power circuits from Murrplastik with "sliding" links of the PowerLine (4 mm) and HeavyLine (6 mm) series. Murrplastik recommends replacing the links as soon as they wear out to a thickness of 1.5 mm.
